Education & Spiritual Growth

Because faith is a journey that begins at birth and culminates with death, Eden Church offers educational and spiritual growth opportunities for all ages. For a schedule of upcoming programs and events click here.  An overview of our offerings follows:

Infant and toddler care is offered during worship and on an as-requested basis for other Eden events by our Loving Arms ministry. Contact the church office to request childcare.

Church School for Children meets each Sunday, except for holiday weekends. Our curriculum introduces children to core biblical stories and nurtures spiritual growth through music, the visual arts, theatre, movement, and play.

Youth Group for Teens follows a similar schedule as the children, except that our teens assist in worship leaders on the first Sunday of each month. Social events and service projects are typically scheduled on weekends, and at times other than Sunday morning.

Confirmation is a nine-month hands-on spiritual formation program for teens that meets semi-monthly with the pastor and advisors and includes a popular retreat with other UCC confirmation classes.

Adult Education Mid-week and Sunday classes, and seasonal and occasional offerings provide participants with an introduction to cutting-edge theology, opportunities for faith-reflection on current events, and encouragement to explore and express beliefs and values in an open and caring environment.
